Dr. Chris Valtierra D.C. CCSP
Dr. Chris Valtierra D.C. CCSP was born and raised in El Paso, Texas where he developed his passion for sports and excelled in football, basketball, and track and field. Upon graduation, Dr. Valtierra attended Texas Tech University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Sport Sciences with a minor in Psychology. During his time at Texas Tech Dr. Valtierra was heavily involved in club and intramural sports as a supervisor and participant.
After graduating college in 2015, Dr. Valtierra Developed a passion for helping people in need, he was driven to move to Dallas and pursue his doctorate in Chiropractic at Parker University. While attending Parker University, Dr. Valtierra was selected to be a part of Parker’s “Sport Performance Pod” where he helped treat professional bull riders, rodeo clowns, and other PBR staff/participants at PBR events in Ft. Worth.
Additionally, he completed over 320 hours in a sport driven internship where he worked with collegiate athletes, semi-pro and professional boxers, MMA fighters, former NBA players, former and current NFL players, cheerleaders, track athletes, and everyday athletes. Dr. Valtierra is recognized by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians as a Certified Chiropractic Sport Practitioner (CCSP) and has worked in the sports medicine field for the past 4 years.
Dr. Oliver Ghalambor, MD, DABA, FIPP, DABIPP, DABPM
Medical Director
Dr. Ghalambor is an internist, anesthesiologist and fellowship trained interventional pain specialist from Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard.
Dr. Ghalambor is a diplomate of American Board of Anesthesiologist with subspecialty certification in pain management. He is also a fellow in interventional pain management, a prestigious diploma awarded by the World Institute of Pain. Dr. Ghalambor also is a diplomate of American Board of Interventional Pain Physicians (ABIPP) and has served as an instructor and examiner.
Finally, Dr. Ghalambor is board certified by the American Board of Pain Management. Dr. Ghalambor received his training in internal medicine in the hospitals affiliated with Montpellier II university in Montpellier, France. After a year training in the preliminary internal medicine in Harbor Hospital, affiliated with Johns Hopkins medical school in Baltimore, MD he received his training in anesthesiology at John H. Stroger Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He is also a trained acupuncturist from Harvard Medical School and a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Management (ASIPP) and the Spine Intervention Society (SIS).
Dr. Ghalambor believes in comprehensive, multidisciplinary pain management. He believes that best results are achieved after a balanced, individualized combination of medical therapy, interventions, physical therapy and if needed, alternative medicine such as Acupuncture.
These beliefs and goals led Dr. Ghalambor to start NorTex Spine & Joint Institute with the first office being in Plano, Texas.
Dr. Trevor Inman, D.C.
Clinical Director
Dr. Trevor Inman earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker University in December 2020 and holds advanced certifications in Neurokinetic Technique and Dry Needling. During his time at Parker, he demonstrated strong leadership as President of an adjusting technique club and actively participated in the Sports Performance Club. In his final year, he was honored to be appointed to the prestigious Sports Performance Pod, where he received specialized training and worked with athletes across various competitive sports. In addition to excelling in his studies, Dr. Inman served as a tutor, mentoring fellow chiropractic students.
As Coppell natives, Dr. Inman and his wife, Christy, are proud graduates of Coppell High School Class of 2013. After high school, he attended Tarleton State University, where he played baseball and graduated cum laude in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.
Dr. Inman’s passion for pain management stems from his personal experience overcoming sports-related injuries. These challenges gave him a deep understanding of what it takes to recover and return to peak performance. Today, he is dedicated to helping his patients overcome pain and regain the ability to enjoy the activities they love.

Katie Mae Chase, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner
Katie Mae Chase graduated in 2013 from West Coast University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Katie then went on to pursue her career at The University of Texas at Arlington where she received her Masters of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Katie is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed to practice in the state of Texas.Katie has had extensive training in pain management, aesthetics, plastic surgery, women’s health, hormone replacement therapy, weight loss, and dermatology. Katie offers a unique combination of experience, knowledge, and personal attention by focusing on each client’s unique needs.Katie lives in Dallas, TX with her husband and four fur babies, two tabby cats and two dogs, a black Labrador and a Doberman pinscher. Katie loves spending time with her husband and animals. Katie is passionate about fitness and teaches Pilates in addition to focusing on her hobbies which include drumming and sim racing.

Liz was born and raised in New Jersey. She has dedicated the last 10+ years to the medical and fitness industry developing a passion for helping others. In her free time she likes to read, work out or lift weights, hike, and hang out with her two cats Mars and Mazzy. Liz is excited to bring her expertise in fitness and health to better help our patients here at NorTex Medical.
Lindsey
Back Office Coordinator
Lindsey was born and raised in Banks, Oregon, and is finishing her Bachelor’s degree at Western Oregon University online. She spent a decade in the optical field and coaching the high school dance team before she relocated to Wylie in 2020 with her husband of nine years. Together they have a son and a sweet lab mix dog. Lindsey enjoys anything Disney including traveling to Disneyland, quilting, and spending time with her friends and family.
